Deliverance is a type of healing ministry that involves fighting and casting out demons. We can’t do that, so it’s important that you do it yourself. Steps to deliverance 1. Things to ask your deliverance minister: How often do you go perform a deliverance? How many successful deliverance’s have you been a part of? Is it just you or a team? Do you perform one-on-one deliverance or group deliverance? It’s important to choose someone with a solid background in deliverance. 2. When performing deliverance, some ministers lay on hands, others might just use a cross. The hope is that the Holy Spirit will come in and cast the enemy out of you. But, sometimes God has a different plan for you. 3. God has different ministries for all of us. Once you are saved you are no longer your own, but His. He might want you to learn to be a warrior in the spiritual warfare arena. Many Christians don’t ever have to deal with spiritual warfare. Sometimes, if there is a calling on one’s life, you may get trained in suffering and combat. With these skills not only are you a formidable warrior against darkness, but you can help defend others with your knowledge base and skill sets. 4. Learning how to fight and self-deliver yourself will make you far stronger, far more knowledgeable, and ready to not only defend yourself, but to teach others to do the same thing. We are all a part of the body of Christ. Some of us are warriors and we defend others, help train others, and we protect ourselves. This might be what God is calling you to do. So don’t lose heart.
